Hi Tom,
Just
wanted to pass this by you, and maybe you can talk to the chapters out your
way. I have connections @ joels backyard steak in Verona ny. When I was
president of Empire State for 4yrs mark the owner went out of his way for us
for our fall banquet and election of officers.
I
would love to see someone from your way step up to a board position in the NEA.
I would even consider making another VP spot if necessary.
The
other thing would be to have are organizational meeting at Joel’s in Verona,
that way people could camp @ the turning stone campground, and go to the casino
if they wanted.
This
is just a thought, I did talk to mark @ Joel’s today and he is willing to work
with me on this, maybe do a light luncheon for us at a reasonable price.
Our
banquets always had good food and he put out way to much, and the price was
outstanding, everyone was very pleased.
So
please keep in touch with me, you will also be getting a letter from National
in regards to nominations for the NEA board.
